Get ready to fall in love with your Airbnb when you decide to stay here. A classic Charleston home filled with decor & inspiration from the many travels of super hosts, Will & Sydney. Let us start out by saying, pictures do not do this magical place justice. Will & Sydney made us feel right at home by welcoming us as we arrived & giving us a brief insight into the Airbnb & all of the amenities that are included in our stay.
This place is all about the little details. Everything from the popcorn & chips they laid out for us, the local beer to taste, a book full of recommendations, holy spokes bikes for us to use, & access to their insanely beautiful backyard oasis.
Perfect location within walking distance to so many great bars, restaurants, & main street(King street) downtown. Here is a look into our Charleston staycation! Thank you Will & Syndey for hosting us.
KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM
Everything about this space was inspiring. The lighting, the variety of rugs, bright colors, coffee table books, comfortable furniture, and kitchen design. We loved the open floor plan so that everyone could enjoy each other in the same area. We also made a cozy bed of blankets on the floor and had a popcorn and movie night.
BEDROOMS
Each bedroom was decorated with trinkets and items from all over the world. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had their own special touches. We literally asked our hosts where they got their bedding from at the end of our stay because it was that dang comfy!
THE BATHROOM
We died when we saw the bathroom, how amazing is this wallpaper? Also, the shower has three different shower heads that made this most heavenly shower experience! They provide all the necessities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a shelf filled with bathroom products.
PORCH & BACKYARD
Can we say backyard GOALS? Who knew Charleston could look like a Bali Oasis! The porch was lovely in the morning to sip on coffee & enjoy a few breakfast pastries. The backyard had cafe lighting, tiki torches, and citronella candles to make it the perfect setting for sunset wind down.
WHAT WE DID
Sunday morning started with a quick walk over to one of our favorites, Browns Court Bakery, to pick up some baked goods for breakfast. The morning light poured through the windows as we sat & drank our coffee & devoured some fresh donuts & croissants. With the beach being only a 20-minute drive away, we opted for some fun in the sun!
After a long day of surfing, playing in the waves & building sand castles on the beach, we decided to take advantage of the gorgeous kitchen & make a Sunday night dinner with the fam. We ended our day with a charcuterie board, local beers, pizza & salad, & some fun card/board games.
We truly had such an amazing stay & made so many fun memories with our family, that we will cherish forever. We can’t thank you enough, Will & Sydney, for hosting us in your space & making our staycation so special. If you are looking for a place to stay while you visit Charleston, you won’t regret choosing the Southern Shangri-La!
