Marbled Paper

 In our down time we REALLY love to do arts and crafts. We found this cool marbling idea on Pinterest (of course) and had to give it a go.

Here is what you will need: 

-nail polish of any color

-water

– water color paper

-paper towel (it can get messy)

-nail polish remover ( to remove any left over paint on your fingers)

-tooth picks

-an aluminum pan that you can essentially ruin

Here are the steps: 

-fill the alunimun pan with 2 or 3 inches of water

-drop your nail polish colors into the water and use a tooth pick to swirl the colors together

-place your paper on top of the swirled colors and press down lightly

– wait about 10 seconds and then lift the paper out of the water and onto the paper towel( aka the drying station)

-wait for it to dry and voilà it is ready!

It took us a couple of tries to get the look we wanted so don’t frustrated if it doesn’t work out the first few times.

So turn on your favorite jams, put on an old t shirt and get your hands colorful!! Have fun y’all!
