Weekend trip to Savannah

August 18th was our ( Trev and Kenz) 2 year wedding anniversary, so we decided to treat ourselves to a little romantic getaway while Carol was on her own adventure to beautiful Whitefish, Montana. Savannah seemed like the best choice because it was just a short 2 hour drive away. I just wanted to give a little overview of where we went, what we did, and where we ate! 🙂

Cheers,

-Where we stayed-

The Brice Hotel: I loved the vibe of this place. Cool interiors, free happy hour wine, gorgeous pool, and also dog friendly ( so fun seeing all the sweet dogs around the hotel). It was located right by a beautiful neighborhood with a cute little park.

-Where we ate-

^The Collins Quarter: If I could go here everyday, I would. Everything from the interior, to the food, to the staff was just awesome. We had the avocado toast, watermelon salad and kangaroo chili. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves! Definitely make a stop by this place if y’all are in Savannah.

^Leopold’s Ice Cream: We just happened to be here on the weekend of their 97th birthday! 97 years in business?! How crazy is that? We waited in line for a while but it was so good and totally worth the wait!

Treylor Park : Always busy, and I can totally understand why. Treylor Park is the bomb y’all. The atmosphere, staff, drinks and food are the best. We had the pb&j wings and deep fried chicken pot pie burrito with a side of spicy coleslaw. This was our anniversary dinner and totally loved it!

-What we did-

^The Paris Market : I was recommended to stop by the Paris Market by a few friends, and it did not disappoint. You know when a store is set up so wonderfully, it just makes you want to buy everything? Well, this is one of them. I could have spent all day in there looking at all the fun little trinkets while drinking coffee.

Chocolat By Adam Turoni: I saw the chocolate sign hanging from a mile away. I LOVE chocolate and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to check out this fun chocolate shop. The chocolates were expensive but made in house, beautifully decorated, and absolutely delicious.

^24e Design Co. : This was the coolest and dreamiest store ever. If y’all are suckers for interior design and cool spaces, stop by this place.

^Wormsloe Plantation: This was a last minute decision on our way out of town and I’m super glad we decided to go. It truly is pretty spectacular to drive down the mile and a half road under the trees dripping with Spanish moss.

^Forsyth Park: Absolutely beautiful park to walk through. Luckily we were there on Saturday when the little farmers market was going on so we got a little taste of some of the local vendors!

^ Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk: all we did is…haha but seriously wear your walking shoes y’all because you will need them. We explored every street and admired all the amazing houses! I’m absolutely obsessed with exposed brick, and there was no shortage here, so I was loving every second of this trip!

There is so much to explore in Savannah and we can’t wait to come back for another trip. Onto the next adventure! Have a great week everyone!!
