Fall Staycation with The Palms Oceanfront Hotel

If you follow along on our social media platforms, you know a few weeks ago we got the opportunity to have a family staycation out on Isle of Palms with The Palms Ocean Front Hotel. Located on 1126 Ocean Blvd, the Hotel is the perfect location for families or couples wanting a relaxed oceanfront hotel right in the heart of Isle of Palms. The hotel is newly renovated with light, bright, nautical feels and a laid back beach vibe. Amenities include a newly renovated pool, outdoor showers, complimentary breakfast and coffee bar, and of course, the beach just steps away.

Fall in Charleston looks a lot different than most places, the sun is out, the weather is hot and the beach is calling your name. This was the perfect way to start off the Fall season and the family enjoyed every second of it.

The lobby also doubled as the breakfast and coffee bar in the mornings. We loved coming down to grab a coffee and some breakfast and enjoy the early mornings together.

One of our favorite parts of our room was the balcony and the view of the ocean. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely gorgeous!

Dinner Night 1

Papi’s Taqueria is just down the street from the hotel and if you know us, you know we can’t pass up on some mexican food. If you want some amazing tacos, street corn, chips, salsa, and queso, you need to stop here. We will most definitely be back.

We definitely recommend setting up a reservation for chairs on the beach. The sun can be hot and draining and it sure was nice to have a little shade. We also definitely recommend getting some ice cream to-go and bring it to enjoy on the beach. That was one of our favorite parts of our day, especially Sunny’s!

BREAKFAST ON IOP

Last morning of our Staycation on IOP we HAD to stop by the best breakfast spot on the Island, Cafe Paname. If you are looking for the best coffee and homemade croissants, look no further. This is a family run cafe just a short walk away from the beach and hotel. IT IS A MUST when visiting IOP. Perfect for breakfast or lunch, or a quick grab and go to take to the beach.
